COPENHAGEN AND MALMO, TWO COUNTRIES IN ONE WEEKEND

Flying into Copenhagen Kastrup Airport you can take a 15 minute train or metro journey to the city center. These depart every five minutes, the train station is on the lower level of the airport.

I also used the train from Copenhagen to Malmo which takes 25 minutes via the airport and then over the very impressive Oresund Bridge which crosses the sea to Sweden. Its worth standing on the Quay in Malmo just to see this impressive construction. The bridge opened on the 01st July 2010, to celebrate  1000’s of runners raced across one day and then cyclists the next. It is now only open to cars on one level and trains on the other.

I used the Radisson Hotels in both cities, both easy walk from the rail stations and both good 4* hotels. It was then an easy journey back to Copenhagen Airport from Malmo by rail over Oresund Bridge direct taking only 20 minutes.
